Digital Story Reflection

The assignment was to tell a story I about anything or event but it had to be made into a movie, The movie had to be at least a minute long and can use images and other material in order to create the project.

            It’s about my drawing and art because I feel free to how I draw. I made this because I wanted to share my vision on art and how I see it. I used only 2 images that were not hand made but the rest were all my drawings. I decided to choose them because they are my good works of at and I am proud to have them.

            I made this decision because my story is unique because it’s one of my favorite things to do.  I enjoy it and practice it everyday. I’ve been doing it since I was at the age of two. Plus I’m still going even today.

            I think I did average because it’s just me telling about what I do an enjoy. Although people enjoyed a good laugh I still don’t think it’s to special. I am proud of what I’ve come up with and that’s why I wasn’t to scared when it was shown. But, it wasn’t easy however I’ve made videos before so my experience with the program was great and prepared. I learned to think harder and make a more unique idea instead of something simple.

 Lyrical Triptych Reflection     10-20-10

The assignment was to basically find one of your favorite songs. Then you would represent it with pictures, making your favorite song become visual. Also, there has to at least be three of these pictures that represent the lyrics within the visual pieces. There were a couple of steps I took into making this project. One was to following directions that were given. I also made sure I picked the right song for the visuals I chose and they all represented the song very well.

Now if I could describe my board I’d say it’s everything the song talks about mostly. The songs name was “The Northern Lights”. It looks finished to me and I also remembered not to fit too much onto one screen or it won’t work. In order to get this final piece I used some tools that weren’t on the list to even use, such as the lens flare effect. Some were on the list that I didn’t use at all such as the filter effect and variations.

I used many images that were not even all-real life. Some were drawings of a visual object that I added. But, regardless it still fits. I thought more about the meaning of the song as well as I did to the pictures. The song felt more like a song of beauty and mystery. So I focused mostly on them. The setting of the song also gave a lot of light so that’s what I also did during the making of this project.

      When it came to making this project, it gave me a bit of more experience. It also gave me more of a free creativity will than the magazine cover project did. The experience I have was very enjoyable and I liked it a lot. I feel satisfied with my work for this “lyrical triptych”. But, if I could do this as assignment over again I’d like to choose a different song.

      

Introduction

Hello, my name is Haneef Brown. I would like to tell you about my self. I am into art,video game designing and martial arts. I really love to draw or edit. Im a Christian and I believe in Jesus Christ. Plus I 'm an out going person. My dislikes involve people who are judgmental, rude , selfish , racist and hypocritical. I like to hang out with people who don't lie, don't judge and pretty much the opposite of my dislikes. I am also a philosopher because I see some mysteries different than other as an example I have a theory that humans can actually be able to fly but thats just my thoughts.
